 Mamori brand specialises in waterproof garment. Below is a waterproof jacket from our SS15 collection, this garment is made of a clear PVC fabric with another contrasting waterproof fabric underneath. These seams are joined through an ultrasonic welder which seals and tapes the seams to stop water getting in.

The making process at Mamori can be quite a long one. As our garments specialise in being waterproof urban streetwear we are constantly experimenting with contemporary styles and waterproof resistance to create the most suitable and street style garment possible. Our young designers develop new and interesting ideas and our garment technologists put them into practice through sampling and experimenting.

Mamori are going to collaborating with one of the biggest grime musicians Wiley! Wiley and Mamori will be collaborating to create an urban collection which will be featured on the release of his new music video Grew Up In Feat. Stormzy and Solo 45. 

Mamori did an exclusive interview with Wiley to get to know the real grime MC, asking about his album, his future and his ideas for the collaboration with Mamori.

Are you excited to collaborate with Mamori?

Yes i'm really looking forward to collaborate with Mamori. I really like how the jackets and clothes have that street look, its fresh! 

The new Mamori campaign is going to be featuring your music?

Its going to have From Grew Up In Feat. Stormzy and Solo 45 playing in the background. I think the song is one of my favourite from the album its pure grime and goes back to my roots. 

Where do you see yourself in 10 years' time?

In 10 years time, I will be a father. I'm a father now, but then... ill be 44, my children will be 17 and 15, il be getting an earache from my daughters.

Do you think youll always live in England?

Yeah I think so. Ill always own property in Britain, but I dont wanna stay here every day of the year. I wanna do other things, but i see this as my home - my children have to go to school here.

The fabric trends in this collection are mainly clear pvc, black lace and contrasting fabrics. Main colours in the collection are blues, grey, blacks and dark greys.
